SKODA Service app on Android and iOS in the UK

Featured Replies

I've just finished reading the manual for my new Octy and on the second last page there's info about a ŠKODA Service app, which is supposed to be available for both Android and iOS devices, complete with a QR code to help locate and download it.

The only problem is that when I attempt to download the app on my Android devices get the dreaded "This item is not available in your country." message.

It would appear that the app is available elsewhere in Europe, just not in the UK at the moment.

I don't suppose anyone knows when, or even if, it will be available in the UK as it would seem to be a potentially very helpful app?

Is it just Android devices it's unavailable for, or is it an issue on iOS devices too?

For the avoidance of doubt it's this app I'm referring to:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skoda.service

https://itunes.apple.com/cz/app/skoda-service/id555311924?mt=8

Rob :)

iOS version downloaded fine for me.

Drop them an email?

iOS version downloaded fine for me.

I scanned the qr code and got the same message as rob from the App Store. Maybe it's a Scottish thing ;-)

Opps, just opened the app and noticed it was the Škoda Media Service app

Easily missed Gizmo68

Are you able to change the thread title at all?

For some reason the forums server doesn't like accented characters - the title should obviously read "SODA Service app on Android and iOS in the UK"

Thanks in advance, Rob

I've just downloaded the app to my iphone but can't seem to find the same features as in the link you've posted

Balls mines the media services too!

I just logged into Google Play as I have an android phone but it says it's incompatible with my device.

Maybe worth monitoring in case it gets translated and adapted for UK.
