Thanks very much to you all that have kindly posted pics of meteor grey vrs,iv changed the colour to it from candywhite,and also red trim to silver,suprisingly my build week changed from week 5 to week 51, so looking at feb,which im not bothered about as it has a personal plate

Why change from the grey? It's a really nice colour.

Love the Meteor Grey. Good call cortina63.

Also love Silver and agree totally with TheWanderer's description on his Option 3.

I like Meteor Grey, a lot. But it was the one compromise I made to Mrs Dodgy, she wasn't keen at all after seeing a Fabia in the same colour at the dealer's.

Not for me sorry, looks too much like a clay model; suits a car more like a TT or R8 than what amounts to a warm family hatch

Not so warm these days. Getting hotter with 220bhp & 6.5 to 60.

Diesel warmer I guess.

Which colour stitching and seat top looks better with the grey?,i have silver specced for mine,but am just thinking it should be red,what have you other meteor buyers specced

I think it looks cool with the red, matches the calipers.

i thought that when I saw the fabia in it,but after that was taken in the daylight it looks spot on,but think the fabia is too small to carry it off,the octy estate should look smart,and i like the red inserts,need to get my spec altered,thanks

I couldn't decide on mine at first but decided to stick with the 'greyscale' theme. Meteor grey car, anthracite wheels, black pack, black windows and interior so decided to go with grey stitching.

Been back to davidian today and changed the trim back to red,now just wait for next year and try not to bend my mk2

I honestly can't stress enough how poor an interpretation this and most other cameras seem to make of this colour. It looks much better to the eye and I love this colour more than even I was expecting and I think it really does suit this car.

I too saw a Fabia in Meteor at the dealers when I was browsing. I thought it looked great, all wet 'n' slippy :-)

Just in time for better weather, sorry just seen where you live... Should the sun come out it would be great to see some bright pictures.

Think it will be a marmite color, Meteor owner will be few and far between..... Can't beat exclusivity...
