Today I fitted the Xtremes to my Octavia vRS.

(Not sure big the photos will appear on the computer as they've been uploaded through my iPad and sometimes are massive, so I do apologise)

Iv only done 20miles on them so will be an on going review.

The diameter including the tyre is the exact same as the 18" with the larger profile.

They sit in my opinion pretty good in the arch (will get photos tomorrow), however maybe 15-20mm drop would make it better.

The ride well...so far iv not noticed any difference what so ever. So time will tell but don't see what all the fuss was about.

Noise again, iv not noticed any increased road noise compared to the standard 18" wheels.

Just took a mate who is a member on here out in it and had a mk2 blackline and he also said it rides no different to his.

If you like them and have to money (cheaper now with option) id say go for it, the car looks hell of a lot better with no instant differences.

Yeah, i paid £151 a tyre for contisportcontact 5 so overall not cheap but really do transform the car .

Mine are on order but I'm going for goodyear eagles

Thats full understandable, reason i bought the car as its probably the last chance I'm going to get for a while as kids will probably on the horizon in coming years so doing while i can.

It sits the same as with the 18's as they are the same size overall so afraid thats it.

I like the car over the moon with it. People have there opinions but i didn't post it up for criticism , i don't think it sits too bad for a skoda renowned for the high ride. No lowering springs suitable at the minute as 30mm will put the tyres in the arch and i don't want the chavvy look

Don't buy them for your car then .

Personally I thought there wasn't enough wheel on the 18's and ruined the look of the car. So that's why I opted for them and you haven't

I came very close to buying a vauxhall cascada with 19" wheels until I checked tyre prices. Nearly £1000 for a set of four fitted. F*** that!

A lovely wheel, v cool to be probably the first person to officially have these on a UK vRS as well; will set you apart from the rest.

Wouldnt be for me though, I couldnt justify the additional expense given the now standard Anthracite Gemini's are an already very nice wheel.

Look at the prices for the Audi Q7 -now that's expensive -or the Bugatti Veyron: just silly -£25K and new magnesium wheels every third set of tyres
