    just out of interest, what's the paint warranty? If it's out of warranty or not reported within warranty, SUK may just send you a letter with 'off' at the end>

    Flat it, compound it, and add a rattle can of lacquer? Probably cost you a tenner all in. Not bad going for an 11 year old car.

Spoke to claybank and they fobbed me off with a story the paint is only covered for 2 years and thats if it's gone from undercoat to laquer - not this way.

The complaint needs to go direct to customer service not the dealer - however see my comment #68 - they will probably remain in a position to offer "help" but their quote is massive compared to what you can get this done for yourself - I don't want to appear negative here but I like many before have been down this route.
