Right, as myself and what seems like many others have the peeling spoiler issue, I've decided to organise a group complaint.

Much in the style of the group buy, add your username and year car (e.g 04/54) below.

Of anyone has any ideas how best to pursue this past the group whinge stage please comment.

Also if you had this problem and skoda repaired it for free please also comment as this will aid the cause.

      The complaint needs to go direct to customer service not the dealer - however see my comment #68 - they will probably remain in a position to offer "help" but their quote is massive compared to what y

      just out of interest, what's the paint warranty? If it's out of warranty or not reported within warranty, SUK may just send you a letter with 'off' at the end>

      Flat it, compound it, and add a rattle can of lacquer? Probably cost you a tenner all in. Not bad going for an 11 year old car.

    The spoiler like the rest of the body work on my 2004 model is immaculate sorry guys, but I have noticed this on a different fabia vrs I once parked next to, infact the guy who owned the other fabia pointed this out and said it was a common problem and that I was so lucky that mine was still in such immaculate condition

    Mine (06) has seemed to be faded a bit too rather than peeled, so the matching is poor, although I'm sure I've improved this with some polishing.

    So unfortunately count me out for now but can forsee this as being a later problem ( if the car lasts than long, hopefully ).

     

    - Interesting to see so far its mostly the older cars but newer aren't exempt from this but no 06's yet? Odd.

    Had 2 vrs's

    Black 04 and yellow 05

    No peeling and no fade

    Mate also has a 05 silver and again is perfect

    My spoiler is pink and my front bumper is peeling a bit. Mind you it's nearly 10 years old now.
