I have taken the plunge and ordered an Octavia vRS Hatch TDI, this will be my first Skoda.

 

Spec'd with the understated but classy look of brilliant silver paint with silver gemini wheels and black design pack!

 

Hardly a bad word in reviews and I wanted a family car with a bit of poke so I'm really excited for my car to arrive.

 

Build week is 46 (two weeks time) and so I am hoping to take delivery mid December.

Welcome and lucky you! I was told you would not see a hatch until March next year! I went for the TDI DSG  estate in white, as this had just arrived in the dealers. 500 miles so far and going away for a few days now so looking forward to opening up the beast! First ever skoda!

I was lucky as the dealer could order modify the one they had originally ordered for stock.  I just hope the build date is confirmed at week 46 and not delayed like a few have experienced - that sounds frustrating!

 

I think Skoda badge snobbery has pretty much disappeared and any keen motorists appreciate they are building bloody good cars!

 

Hope the TDI engine is as torquey as I imagine!
