Ordered Today ...

Featured Replies

Well, after much consideration & choosing I've finally placed an order today to replace my company car Audi A5 (goes back at end of March 2014) and come back to a Skoda.

I've ordered a Skoda Octavia vRS 2.0 Petrol TFSI DSG 5-door Hatchback, Sprint Yellow paint, vRS upholstery with red seams.

Options :- spare wheel, black design pack, sunset glass, boot net, leather upholstery and heated seats, simply clever package, Canton sound system, Columbus navigation (includes Mitsumi Apple device connection & colour MaxiDot), cruise control, heated washer nozzles, KESSY keyless entry.

Nice to see you have picked the " Correct " Colour, bet you can't wait

The use of bold tells us you mean business.

Sorry, copied/pasted text from order email - hence bold text , not posted much for a long time !

Great choice and in the best colour... ;)

Exactly.

Is your Octavia going to be built by Audi, only I've not yet seen a TFSi version?

Nice, best colour available IMO.

Just awaiting confirmation of mine now.

UPDATE :-

Build Week has been up & down like the proverbial pants of a lady with loose morals ; originally 20, then 13, then 15, now back to 13 ...

So, assuming that stands then I'll get the car ~May ; thankfully VWFS have extended the Audi by a month.

Only major disappointment is that I cannot add heated front windscreen (now it's an option on TSi engined cars) without potentially going to the back of the build queue.

Seems a bit harsh ... if its not already built surely it can be added without moving back in the queue ... unless there a shortage of supply of that item ?

You may also lose any protection you have from the price increases amid any pcp/free servicing deals as they've ended.

I did enquire about changing the colour on my order and was told that the price would probably go up

Yep same story here when enquiring about colour change. If you ordered before end of 2013 that seems to be the message.

Looks good to me, hope you find her worth the wait!

Hopefully only ~ a month to go now ; still BW10 as of yesterday and should get a build date tomorrow ...

A short drive will be first, followed by the obligatory photos.

My order from 4th November was confirmed bw 10 last week in Thursday, although not vRS it is an Elegance with few of the problematic options. Seems our same week orders will be same week builds :-)
