And the pipe and tobacco is in the dash top box

How the hell did you know...?

Yep - bearded Yeti owner here too!

Had beard since late-70's

Only problem is the wife is currently away in Sheffield!

Any connection?

Possibly!   But she's being chaperoned by our 18-year old daughter on a Uni look-see visit.  Mind you - that's just what they told me..... :giggle:  :bandit:

I'd never have said that Clive, but True Very, True.

Yes, I have to admit I have grade 1 facial fungus or should that be fungi? It originally sprouted when I noticed my forehead was starting to get frighteningly extended (or was my face slipping downwards?) and I thought the afore mentioned would look less obvious if one's attention was drawn instead to the luxuriant growth on my chops. I'm afraid no one was fooled by this but I kept it anyway!

so is it true oldies usually order yeti?  Strange because the car is fun to drive and quite original.

I guess youngsters prefer subaru impreza to burn some tires...

I to have full facial cover. I did shave it off once about 25 years ago the wife came into the house and did not notice so I thought why bother to shave.I now have a trim every couple of weeks.I am not quite old enough to draw a pension

Dunno about 'usually', but there does seem to be something here.

Senescence?  (Look it up!)  As in - 'To drive through the 30mph village at a mature, fifth-gear, thirty-one miles per hour  - but otherwise to adopt a proper Brisky style whenever possible and legal  '.

Why wouldn't some oldies still prefer a car that is fun to drive and can happily be driven briskly? Or something that is original? We're not all queuing up to use our bus passes! BMW make a very good market out of us? Why shouldn't Skoda? Truly getting into my "Anti-Ageist" troll mode now..... :hi:

Besides Subaru abandoned the rally-racer boys 5-6 years ago, when they switched the Impreza from a saloon to a hatchback.

Troll rant over!

Beards are OK, but a beard in progress is an awful thing for the woman in your life  :(  :D

Oddly I've never gone for bearded girls or girls with a beard in progress. (Bob if you are around, NO!) also the deep voice would put me off  :giggle:

I tried a mustache when young and it resembled a bar code. In fact I may have been on offer at the super market if they scanned it  :giggle:

Its all going just that little grey now so I'll stick with my stubble.

I shaved my beard off nearly 20 years ago, when I started to look like Captain Birdseye.

I normally have stubble...  but at the moment I'm doing my very first MO since it is Movember... (I normally think very few things can look worse on a man than a moustache, but it's all for a good cause).  I would never in a million years post something like that on here - but since this thread is now relative, here is my Mo page should anyone want to sponsor me with a few pence:

Donated despite your anti moustachist views!

Awh. Thank you very much. Well Magnum PI looked ok in his I guess, so depends on the person perhaps. :-)

Better still he is the only one without a beard.

Yet another graduate of University between 67 and 72 and had a beard for most of that time. Stupidly I shaved it off when I got married and then promptly regrew it so the wedding photos are uncharacteristic!

In my youth it prevented "stubble trouble" with the ladies :D - now shaving would seem a chore.

I own up to being a bearded oldie.

Think of all the dosh saved(to buy the yeti?) by not purchasing razors, blades etc

Oh, dont know why there's a line through the script - site always gives me problems dohhhhhhh :drunk:
