ok, so I havn't posted in a long while, decided today to have a sneak peak at the dealers (Mervyn Stewart, Belfast) to see if my car had arrived yet. To my extreme excitement, there it was! Ready for prep. I had been tracking it right from build week so was hoping to see it at dealers.

 

vRS Hatch TSI - Race Blue - Manual

 

Only extras were Black Pack and Sunset Glass. Dealer has included "protection pack" whatever that is foc.

 

Just a brief timeline:

 

Ordered: 29th July, told by dealer I was first to order vrs hatch with them and to not expect delivery until Jan 2014.

Built: Week 43

Shipped from Emden: 28th October

Arrived at Dealer: 11th November (took longer as I am in NI)

Ready to Collect: 18th November

 

So, time from order to collection I work out to be 16 weeks. I'm a very happy man. Have to say goodbye though to my mk2 FL vRS, but sure onwards and upwards as they say.
