Number plate oppotunity

Featured Replies

For the ultimate VRS, BE57 VRS is available. If you don't like it kiss MY14 RSS.

You can have MY 14 VRS

or MY 57ODA

This was my first venture into a 'personalised plate' and I am really pleased with it :)

KS63 VRS (K being my first initial)

I had...

VR57 OCT

...on my old vRS Octavia.

Still a few available too (VR58 OCT etc.)

AAAHHHH the words " class" and " personalized plates " should not be in the same sentence, its a sin..!!!  Totally in my opinion by the way.

You drive a Skoda, the effects of a number plate on your social standing are the least of your worries!

If I had a 14 plate car AV14TOR would be awesome!

and im very happy to own a skoda.....but IMO a 80s merchant banker sort of private plate on a £500 or £500.000 car just looks **** ,but every one to there own.

Maverick? Do you drive around with a fellow named 'Goose'?

Actually SWMBO's nickname is Goose... Lol. She is aware she does die before the end... And I need to find an Iceman...

Personalised number plates are a personal thing. Some people like drawing attention to themselves, some like to remain inconspicuous, and others prefer subtlety - a plate which means something to them but little to anyone else. The only certainty is that private plates are easier to remember, so annoying someone (even accidentally) is more likely to come back to haunt you.

If I could afford to spend £000's on a proper "Private" reg, I would probably spend it on Snowboarding or Scuba diving holidays instead, at least I would get some enjoyment out of it

If you buy a vRS and don't put a personalised plate on it you're a complete fool.  The car is very light on VRS branding, so it needs attention drawing to it via a vRS-related personalised plate.  I'm amazed Skoda haven't included this as standard equipment to be honest.....  I've had to spend extra getting an appropriate numberplate and vRS branded surrounds to give the car an identity.

I've had VR53 WOW for a while ready to be fitted to my green hatch....  just need the bloody car to put it on!

I have managed to buy the opposite no plate of my 1983 rs1600i escort show car,y--- nbk,the rs being nbk---y,which causes some confussion to the dealer service desk as both cars can be booked in together,on occasions

Was sorely tempted to order MY14 VRS and auction it off when the 14's hit the roads for a small profit :)

Thanks for the analysis Dr. I have a friend, the opposite of me really. He doesn't rate subtlety and needs to be looked at to feel comfortable in his own skin. He also has a need to put the model of his car on his vanity plate in case he forgets. Could you please provide a similar psychological profile for him? Thanks.

I am really worried that this is some kind of sarcasm that I am not getting.

I mentioned it somewhere else on this site but.....

I have got TS14 VRS waiting to go on mine when it arrives. I Just hope it doesn't arrive before March. Ordered November so could be a close thing, or not.

Yes, I seem to remember it was a rather blunt message to me when you'd mis-read one of my posts on this subject.

Blunt.

Sorry if thats how it seemed. Maybe I am not posting things correctly.

I want "A P05EUR"

I'm sure this has been posted (for that I sort of apologise) but I can't help but find this article amusing. Like you would want some of these anyway.
