Fantastic NM

The best Ive seen

Thanks for posting

BSD?

Thanks, It's Gyeon Wetcoat, I'm not a fan of BSD.

Thanks

I tried Gyon Wet Coat..I still have half a bottle somewhere

Wasnt very impressed with it TBH...I wouldnt recommend unless youre applying to naked paint as it can affect the LSP

I rate BSD very highly.

I've applied it over BMD Taurus, FK1000p & Colli 845, awesome stuff, easy to use, get about 3 months protection from it.

Found BSD to be streaky & not the easiest spray sealant to use. But hey, this is going off topic now as its a beads thread.

Streaky?

Never seen that ...You might be putting too much on

Moving on, Collinite 845, great wax especially this time of the year.

It is great wax

I get asked for this a lot

Not quite as durable as 815 IMO...but easier to apply

Shake it well..as its thixotropic in nature

Swissvax Crystal Rock

Over rated

Stupid price

Tried it once..not worth £800 ish a tub

I can't recall if this is Auto Finesse Desire or Raceglaze 55

Ive used RG 55

A nice wax but poor durability

Good for the summer when it can be regularly reapplied

BMD Genesis.

Beautiful shots NM. Lovely tall beads from most of those suggesting the paint prep is quality work.

Can I ask, with no aim to upset. Are you spritzing water on with a trigger sprayer? I know some do to see the best beading photos. Or is it just selecting the best area after a PW or hose rinse?

I ask because it looks in a couple of shots like there is dry panel in the background.

Not tried that

Beading nothing special though...that makes it stand out from others

This is the problem  ...There is a limit to beading..ie. once youve reached it..where do you go then in describing a wax

How it looks.

Thats one way Mark

Or leave it out in drizzle

Hard to replicate with a hose pipe

Beading is always tight like this when spritzed....and immediately after application

So to me...its nice to see it, but does it demonstrate the true performance of a wax or sealant?

I know, I was curious how NM had done it for those photos.

Thanks appreciate the comments & your question does not upset me, it's a fair question.

The ArtDeKotsos & Crystal Rock ones were sent in within a week of me detailing the cars, I asked the owners to send me some pics once it has rained. The others were done by me using the jet wash on a wide fan on the panel. The dry part on some of the shots will possibly be from the water sheeting off the panel.

What the name of your Detailing business NM?

I don't have a detailing business.

Confused then:

Confused then:

Oh dear, what's confusing you?

Some thing a Pro Detailer would write

Whats confusing?

Sorry to the OP for the off topic posts but feel I need to reply to a direct question

You are confusing, I'm not a pro Detailer nor do I have or work for a detailing company, I've already explained that.

I'll expand on this as no doubt you will feel the need to reply again.

Detailing has been a passion of mine for quite a few years. I detail friends & families cars, sometimes I do a friends of a friends etc. so no doubt you'll ask why I have expensive waxes if I don't have a detailing company. It's because it's what I like to do, like some people spend £1000's on pushbikes or £1000's on designer clothes etc. to me that is daft, but on the flip side they will say it's their passion & I'm the mad one for buying expensive waxes. As for payment for these details, the another passion of mine is beer and curry, so let's say I have a good stock of ale & I can't remember the last time I had to pay for my own curry :giggle:

I hope you are no longer confused & this thread can now go back on topic.
