Cheers Bud  I did originally have it wrapped but it didn't last, faded from the sun etc & was getting little tears within it so from April I used spray paint with plastic primer & so far so good

One from September last year with Pete's 53

Would prefer not to have beading as it usually means that its rained or its raining again  :rain:

After all it is supposed to be Summer!

LOL.... you certainly have a point!

Although - on Friday - we had a thunderous downpour here around 5pm.

The added benefit was that it basically washed my car.....

I drove off on Saturday morning and there was a dusty silhouette ring where the car had been parked :giggle:

Ran a little experiment with BSD on the Eunos over the weekend.

Basically, the paint might never have been worked on since it rolled out of Hiroshima in 1993! So it'll need some orbital attention but that's a bit further down the project list.

So as a test to see how BSD coped on completely untreated/unprotected paint, I cleaned back the bonnet with Bilt Hamber Surfex-HD degreaser, rinsed down and applied a coat of BSD:

Also took a video showing run-off when water was applied via a watering can, but it's too big to upload directly. Will have to host that somewhere.

Pretty impressive I must say. It's clearly no substitute for proper protection, but it's a bloody good 'one stop shop'. Probably won't get detailed within the next month, so I'll be able to see how durability holds up.

Very impressive indeed.

As has been said many times before BSD is more of a Quick Sealant and its excellent at this.

Just a shame it doesnt add that much gloss or slickness to the paint as we would want from a pure QD.

I arrive at the same conclusion - QS rather than QD :D

The thought did cross my mind to try something glossier in the QD dept (FoShow perhaps) underneath an application of BSD? Although on this, there isn't a great deal of gloss to show off on the paint ;)

New to this beading stuff....good or bad?

Looks okay. Beading is just one property to a wax/sealant. Some bead well, others don't. Nice pic, thanks for sharing!!
