Beading from the rain today but washed last week & used waxaddict Fo'Show after on each panel as a high gloss protection.

Few from a clean last week and beading from over the weekend after being by the coast for a few days last week.

Tried some Dodo Juice wax I've had a while but never used; love Super Natural, hate Double Wax!!

Are those roof-rails actual monte carlo black/black magic (metallic) like the wing mirror covers etc... I like them a lot compared to my ones, which are black but more black metal touch/feel

They are gloss black metal roof rails and mirror covers plastic (all part of the black package). Both come up a treat though so will keep up waxing them.

I have had to fit wind deflector's to stop the bead's coming in when windows are open LOL

 

 

 

 

Love when the beads run of and leave those dry streaks.  Particularly on roofs, the pattern makes me think 'union jack'. .... Bit like a subtle version of mini cooper roofs.

I found out the hard way my wax is still going well this morning when I had all my windows open and all the water on the roof ran in my drivers window!

 

Still, happy the wax is lasting well as never used it before.

Also like a virtually non-existent gutter so when you open the doors in the rain, it all runs in over the seats.......

Very useful feature!

I think that both Octavia ans Superb hatches suffer from this, I've tried to reduce this on my Superb 3 by limiting the height that the tailgate opens to i.e. wide enough to load and not hit your head but not so wide that rain water comes in when you open it.
