Standard paint on callipers

I have had some pantone 348 mixed up to match the standard calliper colour. Unfortunately they could not do specific calliper paint.

Does anyone have experience of painting callipers in standard paint? How does it hold up a few months on?

Not very well I'm afraid. Mine looked ok for about 3-4 months but I do a lot of miles

I usually use hammerite, as you can just paint it on.

The standard stuff will probably need correctly prepped. To last correctly!

Ive got pantone mixed in a spray can at halfords amd after 6 months of high milage amd abuse. Still look spot on

Adding this for anyone that comes across the same issue. Noticed a slightly extended crank a day or so ago, along with a few seconds worth of poor idle and then ran as normal. Checked for codes, and none showing. Checked plugs when I got home again and all ok. Checked the lpfp count and was at or around 50% at idle. No hesitation or misfires and none detected on scanner. Rail holding pressure within parameters and both lpfp and hpfp showing requested and actual pressures where they should b

Hello, recently my air conditionor kinda stopped working. In the morning or in the evening everything works just fine, normal operation. I’m having a issue on start-up from cold there is a noticeable lumpy idling. This hasn’t caused any massifier codes when scanning via VCDS. Last year as part of the service the sparkplugs were changes but the rough idol is getting more noticeable. My Audi had the same issue that eventually resulted in constant misfire. This is a follow up to a previous question I posed recently. I had a 2008 vRS for over 12 years and really loved it before moving on to something different. Looking to getting back into vRS ownership again and toying with the idea of finding one with the 4x4 drive train. If anyone has been able to compare the two, is there a noticeable improvement in road handling with this variant? Thanks
