Sense of humour. :D

Trust me if you're doing a 1.8 conversion you've got to have one! It gets a bit wearing to be honest!

Plus my rear brakes Taylor...;) Bloody hell you're busy man...!!!

I should be have two sets of tyres as I will change from 19's to 18's for the track unless I get around to changing before I leave tomorrow night.

I'm tempted to keep the Uniroyal's on if it rains as the Yoko's are well epic in the dry but pants in the wet!!!

Pull your finger out! My car caught fire at Blyton and I had that all back together and ready for Bedford days ago :D

had problems getting to the car as it was in london, and work have been going mad so ive had to put in some extra time there too

I'm still debating taking my back seats out or leaving it with the full interior in.

I'm also going to bring my Uniroyals in case the weather is nasty.

Having my own little competition with BJB540, since we seem to have similarly matched cars.

Full interior strip down :)

Back seats are a doddle.  Mine are never in, but I know the octy ones are as easy as the fabia for removing. :)  Can simply whip them out on the day and leave them in the pit garages.

Weather is meant to be pretty nice.  Settled, not too warm.  Just "nice"

Looks like I'll probably be sweating in my fireproof overalls :D

I'll be running tyres with whatever is left on them from Blyton.

I'll be running tyres. Definitely some tyres.

I'm also not coming for lunch as I've been handed some VIP tix for V fest at Weston Park. Shame the bands are all so terrible this year.

Time to load up the Golf on the trailer, I will be going to work with it tomorrow and then down to Kettering Friday night for the short hop to Bedford on Saturday morning.

 See you all there Saturday

Mine will be left as it is, only mod is lighter alloys and tyres.

I thought about stripping............

I was considering a hair cut, might make all the difference...

Just have a damn good sh#t :)

well I will be on RSR's, regardless of weather, however I can garuntee I will beat my last time, as this car had 1,000 miles on, **** brakes, chocolate tyres, no rarb, and I had limited experiance!

Dave, I'd expect you top my time by at least 4 secs!

Such a pity I cannot go with you lot...

I will however check here for vids and time tables  .

As for weight saving MK2 Fabia vRS Hatch saves 47kgs by taking rear seats, spare wheel and tools out - don't forget to leave towing eye in the car!

Have fun!

DONE

Leaving for Hotel shortly see you all in the morning

My day has now freed itself up.

Just debating whether I attend or not.

Does the Ibiza deserves to pop it's track cherry?

Would a completely standard Fabia with an already patchy turbo history be wise?

decision decisions

could also do with some rubber if i'm honest

Budget Accelera Alphas nor Rainsports are particularly built for track work

Take the Fabia if it goes then do the work trackday car plan with it ;)

Relies on them actually carrying out a plan and passing some money my way

i am not holding my breath and nor am i sacrificing my car to the cause on what i've heard so far!

I wouldn't worry too much, the biggest and weightiest part doesn't seem to want to budge.
