There were 29 names on the list as of end of Jan, have that many really dropped out due to the date change or is it the reality of putting one's hand into one's pocket?

I'm on hols then as I expect a lot of others with kids are. Maybe the reason for the low take up?

On a side note would anyone object if a friend came in his Corsa VXR? He has been on track as a passenger with me a couple of times at Brisky events so knows the score...

People like to leave it late if they are not sure they have the money to do it.

 

This is why Castle Combe works so well, you only go on the list when you pay a deposit.

As we had so many people sign up to this initially and then the date was changed to get two sessions in the morning, I am now wondering with the fact we have not filled one session that it might be a good idea to speak to MSV and see if we can get our original date in June back.

 

 What do you think?

I'd rather you didn't as I'm already doing another event on June 7th. Championship round too so I wouldn't be missing it.

Just to clarify MSV never offered us a date in June.

 

I expected we'd get 7th of June as that's the weekend we have booked in previous years

 

However when i spoke to them they confirmed that Palmersport have already booked out all weekends in June & July so all they could offer was the 8am session on Bank Holiday Monday May 26th (uh...no thanks) or the session(s) we have on Saturday 16th August

  best leave it alone then, looking at the above comments I could get lynched for upsetting best made plans 

 

 I can wait, just have to book something else to fill the gap between now and then.

I'd like to keep you company but that's  (1) just far too early for me to get up in the morning, (2) I'd probably kill the Octavia!
