Can you PM me details of who is doing this for you Richard, I have been wondering if it is worth doing this on the 1.8tsi and would like to talk to someone and confirm how much/little would need to take it to a 2.0tsi for a 240bhp Stage 1 and bigger gains when I finally get a K04 sorted.

You would actually be much better off getting a used 2.0 probably, of the same vintage.  As I am doing with my Yeti.  Will PM you anyway.

My layperson brain is trying to work out what else needs to change besides the pistons is all Richard.  This seems to dictate the capacity difference on the two tsi's as it all comes from the stroke.

 

If it costs as much as buying a used 2.0tsi then I am probably out!
