I've got the brochure for my years Fabia from 2002 or 2003. FG was no longer an option. The vRS was released on 03 and only came in red, black, yellow or silver. I think white would have sold well, as would Cayenne orange

Saw a orange vrs mk1 in Asda in Sheffield the other day....all I could.do nit to go for a closer look.

I don't want to start something that I might get addicted to whilst I'm on a fixed budget, but if my numbers come up on the Euromillions tonight I'll buy one off you for a track day car.

Okay BF, I had a little luck with the Euro-millions last Friday. The win has been confirmed and the money paid into my account. :$$$:

So which of your cars to choose?

I’ve given it some thought and decided that the first priority for a newcomer should be reliability and then speed/handling. I think that this rules out the white VRS as it is too highly modified for an entry level track car.

That leaves the silver VRS, the blue VRS SE(although this may no longer be available) and the Fiesta.

Given that all the Fabias are around 10 years old, I think that the Fiesta would be my choice given your high recommendations and manufacturers warranty, except that I don’t want to assume that it’s up for sale as I know how fond of it you are.

If you’re prepared to sell it then money is no object, I’m prepared to blow the whole £5.60 on the purchase!

Pwhoooorrr! with that you should be able to buy 1 or maybe 2 FGF Fabias :D

shame they will be 1/72 scale!

I think there was a pic of a bright orange one on the FB page a while ago.

Just for info the White VRS is now £3,500 no offers as I need the space...

In the "For Sale" section.

Only posted that turbo kit off today too :(

I do have a tt inlet manifold if you want to run a different intercooler!

Cheers Josh, will bear it in mind.

This is a winter project for me so it's not going to be a quick one.

Oh yes. :)

I wonder it the speedo would go straight in a Fabia? Seats look rather comfy too while I'm at it :giggle:

I did notice that the clocks and instrument binnicle does seem oddly similar to a Fabia in layout and shape.

I'm wondering if the Polo GTI clocks will pretty much fit into the Fabia dash with minimal bodging.

Would be handy.

I did pay a bit more for this than the 1.8t Ibiza.

But I justified that for the seats. :D

Oooh, the rare Polo GTI seats too. ;)

dear oh dear!

I noticed the seats and noticed i'm 3rd in line. :(

The internals of the clocks may be identical to the fabia ones. May just be a case of swapping the casing over.

(Glad I read that back to myself. I missed the 'L' on clocks....)

Get rid of the dash and blimey in the time it took me to service a e34 you've done this

Until your car is running and drivable?

Impressive.

It'll probably take that long for my turbo to arrive and to get the engine work done.

All fitted up but wont be running most likely as the wiring will take a while
