Just had a call from AMD - it appears that "due to unforseen circumstances" that they cannot elaborate on, they want to move our day to 22nd June! 

 

Doesn't make any real difference to me tbh, how does this affect anyone else??

I should be able to make it on June 22, but it will look out of place  with all the Fabia vRS's that are coming! 

 

I don't really know what the engine produces, but even now it's difficult to put the power down at low speed, the front end just scrabbles

untlll the car is rolling.

Dropping the stick into "S" mode works, but only after a second or two of feather footing! 

 

It's a long car for FWD, I'm guessing that there's too much weight on the back wheels when compared with a Fabia or Octy.

Perhaps it's time to jettison the Conti Sport Contact 2's & find tyres with more grip`?

I'll try and get to this as a spectator (not really interested in Rolling Road Action) to meet some of the local members, been to AMD a few times with Mini Clubs in the past.
