2015 Octavia Bonneville Special VRS , true?

Featured Replies

Hi, I've seen different pictures online of a Skoda Octavia Bonneville, also saw it depicted in a magazine as 2015 Octavia VRS model.

Anyone know if this is a hoax or if it is really coming? I really like the hood..

Offcourse I could not find a picture at this moment, anyone who has picture of this model?

You mean this one?

Full "new" Skoda lineup article is here:

Thanks guys, exactly what I was looking for!

The article says the 2.0L engine will be upgrade to 300BHP

Judging by the current vRS waiting list order one now if you want it by 2015.... be great if produced and show a new direction for Skoda - but treading well onto Seat's territory I would have thought as well as Audi S3 and VW Golf R (whose running gear and 4WD it would presumably share) so don't know if it would actually ever happen.

If the pictures are true maybe Skoda will herald a new age of putting smaller diameter wheels on the rear than on the front, aka the retro Penny Farthing look .

Haa haa, good spot, I only just noticed that..!

It does look rather odd once you notice it doesn't it.

That's a rather obvious photoshop of a real current VRS car... So it's just the imagination of whoever drew that. I highly doubt this will ever happen and if it will that it will ever look this wild.

PS: The "smaller" rear tires are due to a thing called perspective. :P

Taking the perspective fully into account, the rear tires are too small when compared to the body lines. The top of the rear wheels are plotted half way down the door line versus the fronts which are three-quarters of the way up. Even accounting an extremely steep rake, either the rears are too small or the fronts far too big, or both. It's obviously not an official Skoda conceptual design.

Just draw a straight line between the tops of the two wheels to see how wrong the proportions look.

You can tell that the original is a real picture of a real VRS (as you can see the driver). So I'd say the proportions are about right. But we're rather off-topic here. :)
