Ben, If you don't mind me asking who do you work for? Was recently offered a job working for Stobarts who have taken over the Autologic site at Kirk Sandall unfortunately had to turn it down two young children + living away all week just would not have worked, anyway keep an eye out for a white vrs with black pack going to Alex Lawrie in Liverpool.

I'd rather not say, as I don't want to represent the company as I'm giving information regarding deliveries. Some people may want to complain about damage and go to the company I work for quoting my posts and name. Although it's not autologic. My dad did work for them on this contract, but this company won that.

I don't deliver any further than Huddersfield, but if I see a white vrs in the docks I'll check if it's yours. We are also based in Doncaster.

Sadly not. Well maybe tomorrow...dealer said they would ring tomorrow with an update. We shall see. Would be mightily convenient if I could pick it up next week.

I feel for you Bichti, I'm going in to sign all my paperwork tomorrow, the car is sat there ready, can't touch it though, as its on a 14 plate, I wanna see it but not, if you know what I mean.  I think I'll say no if they ask well, that's what I think now but, when they ask arrrgggggggg.

 

I should have brought an ex-demo patience ain't my thing.

No VRS on the Leeds lorry?

No sorry, I did look while I was there. There is a hatch in white in their compound, but no estate. 4 trucks today and no vrs's. I took 6 yetis and a octavia estate.

Mine will be a black hatchback with black grill etc. Also anthracite wheels and sunroof - manual not automatic.

 

I ordered back in October via lease company, so I have no idea where it will be shipped to before I get it.

 

Fingers crossed I won't have too much longer to wait...

Just talking to my dad, and he's just said that he delivered a white octavia vrs estate to Leeds this morning. He can't remember the spec, but says it had silver wheels instead of the graphite coloured ones. I'll still keep my eye out Though. If you have any idea of the last 5 numbers of the chassis number I can check if it's yours or not.

Depends on where in the country you live is where the cars come to what port, either sheerness or Grimsby. And where you ordered it from. I'll have another browse around in the morning.

Placed an order for vrs estate tdi blue beginning of November from lease company in Nottingham, spoke to them yesterday and car supposed to be delivered mid march...hope this is correct because it will have been 19 weeks by then!!!

that sounds about rite, when we deliver to the dealers, they get a little excited when a vrs turns up, as we mostly here of 25 week waiting.

Rite, ha. I'll have another look tomorrow! I do have a load that's going to Leeds in the morning, but don't know what cars they are. Could be Audi or VW or Skoda. Or all 3. I will certainly keep my eyes open. I'm determined for you ha.
