Looks ace Ant, nice one! Bet that will stop the car like you've hit a tree!

Will look good when you've had the chance to tidy them up a bit :)

looks really good ant was going to get a 312 setup but you've now just convinced me to get this set up was it mk4 r32? and would look sweet with some grooved and dimpled discs. just need calipers, carriers, and hoses from them.

They look excellent mate!

Let us know how they work for you plz.

BTW, where did you get them from and how much did you pay if you do not mind me asking?

What is your insurance premium hike for those beasts? Some people were reporting very large premium increases for large brake upgrades...

your car is turning out nice mate, watching the mods with interest!

I found that's everybody does he 312mm upgrade and I dint want to follow everybody else and do something different. Yeah there off the mk4 r32 but make sure you get the brake lines with them

cheers man. Got them off ebay paid cash and got the, a little cheaper. The good sets go for about £300 without dose or pads that's expensive bit well the disc anyways. The insurance know about everything on the car but will have to tell them about theses now

cheers sharkrider I want to do the power root this year lol and just enjoy the car.

It's been a good Sunday morning we've fitted the R32 brakes still can't believe how big they are. Also the milltek downpipe/decat as sold, got collected today.

In a week and half it'll be going into cobra for the full exhaust system with decat and having the black tips.

it was took at 4pm when they was closing for the day Bryan

The pics of the new brakes don't do them justice IMO.

They don't look that much bigger but I'm sure that's not the case.

Nice dealer pic too.

i wasn't going to this year to be honest but then I want to go down the power root now. I've done the shows and the main players won't have change alot to there cars.. Time for some fun in the little vrs :)

Would you be tempted to try a track session Ant?

I'd be interested to see how the air ride performs on track :)

yeah I really want to do some track days or/and go on the strip. I am really happy how the car is at the moment and it's only to get better in the next month or so. No engine rock the brakes are amazing now for the exhaust then mapping along with new plugs. Also I'm wanting to know if the vwr filter will do anything. I don't like the look of induction kits under bonnet. i like the oem+ Look :)

Excellent :) are you going to the rwyb day in May? Quite a nice mix of mk1s and mk2s lined up

is that the 16th may? I will have to look at work to booked a holiday in but it's a first come first serve bases

It would be great shame if you didn't track this car at least few times. If you've ever done any track time I do not have to explain anything to you but if you haven't I bet you will get hooked! MK2 vRS's suffer from mortal understeer so the best track mode is RARB, not sure if you got it installed. Brakes you got sorted (I am green with envy here!) just make sure you have some good high performance fluid in. Some rod legal track rubber on lightweight rims would complete the setup. I must admit I am seriously curious how a bagged car would perform on a track - not a popular setup with racing teams ;)

yeah I've got the h&r rarb. The brakes I'm still loving. I'm not sure if I can get the 16th off for santa pod.

The car as been dropped off at cobra sport exhaust for the work to be carried out. I can't wait for the results and more sound out the vrs.
