Paint the airbox and piping white as the engine cover and just give the battery a good clean and a bit of a plastic treatment product of choice so it is nice and shiney black :). Looks good !

Good stuff, but why do you need 8 (or am I being thick?)

Ignore that, I've just looked at the other fitting link and realised what all the bits are.......it was me being thick :)

cheers Bryan for what they cost and my sills don't look the best with having the car up for different things. It's a must.

Must sound a bit strange when they just punch through with the pressure of the jack :)

I'll be ringing Hortons in the morning to order a set

Or if your going to santa pod on Saturday you can have a look.

Ant

I'm likely bringing my 3yr old along to watch on Saturday, I'd be interested in taking a look to see whether they're suited to the vRoomster.

that's even cheaper than what got then for.

Asked the boys in parts to ring for me so probably wrong price but that's what he said. Il find out Monday finally can jack my car up at my house without ruining my sill

Hopefully they will fit a mk1 Fabia. Been looking at them for a little while

I would have thought so as it's the same floor plan.

Went to the santa pod raceway meet yesterday brilliant day really enjoyed it. Went up the strip 5x and my best time was 14.4 :)

Excellent that's a good time. I bet the dsg really helps with the 1/4 mile

yep I love it. The mk1 couldn't get the power down. I raced a red mk1 fabia vrs with 240bhp, 340 l/ft and pulled away from him. The 1.4 tsi is a brilliant little motor.

Yeah the pd lump really isn't designed for drag racing. Still haven't been out in a mk2, but it sounds like a good formula

£19.72 it came to got them from tps today will fit after work today. Thank you for the idea :)

So I've been collecting a few bits for the car over the last few months. First to turn up was the new airlift pancake tank as I want to get my boot floor lower. Ignore the funny looking taps I've got all new ones to put in it. Here's what it looked like

Then I sent it to the blasting company to get it done in white.

A few weeks after that I brought the gfb dv+ from Sam on here as he was turning the car back to standard. I ain't had the chance to fit as the car was playing up a bit.

Also I brought this too, which I dint think I wanted one. I will see how it goes when fitted. I've got the vwr replacement filter in at the minute and that works really well even and even better at santa pod.

So the car as gone into Skoda today for the 40k service but it's only on 30500 ish. Told them it's going into limp mode but no lights on the dash. I will have to see what it comes back with.

Hope you like the goodies
