2015-model

I'm hoping the flat bottomed steering wheel makes an appearance...

I hope my RS will have the same especially if I'm told it'll be a week 22 or after build and delivery to Australia in September!

My vRS is provisionally scheduled a week 20 build and I've ordered it with cruise, as it'll become standard the week after what's the chance of me getting a refund for it?

I got a call from my dealer today, build week 26 assigned....new 2015 model, again ordered with cruise before it becomes standard. Dealer said about new badges and new cloth, that was about it for the changes!

Hows that for 2015 flat bottom steering wheel not available on vrs

Is that such a problem?

Drove a Sirocco with a flat-bottomed M/F wheel a couple of weeks back & wasn't great, especially whilst parking the thing.

Agreed - looks nice but a pain in the rear when wheeling it around Tescos car park

da21982 must work for VAG as the reason the links don't work is they are all from their dealer CMS site that you need to log into. Not sure if you would dare download the images and rehost them directly here or on photobucket/flickr etc?

Shame about the lack of ACC in UK, its an option in AUS and NZ (but we dont get lane assist).

Is the steering wheel confirmed as the flat bottomed one? Hard to say without the pictures, could just be the 3-spoke is now an option on the lower trims?

Why do I feel frustrated that I'm down as bw20 so won't get cruise control? I've never had cruise, it wasn't a costly option but I still decided I didn't want it.... But now I feel a bit peeved  :wonder:

i guess its just that i know others will get something for free that i wont get i supppose....jealousy then!   Typical though, 22 week wait from order to start of bw and miss the 2015MY by 3 weeks.  Poo

Neiln - I've got cruise on my current car (a Scout) and living in London, I rarely get to use it except for family holidays and trips to see relatives in Lincolnshire. Without ACC I rarely get to engage it because the roads are so busy. Although its good for the 50mph restricted sections of the M25, M1 and M6, I could live without it.
