How fast is fast, to you?

Featured Replies

Well, that's how I thought it would feel as a passenger in my mate's (well his dads) P reg 911 Carrera. I didn't htough, just sounded very noisy and rattly, and the sense of acceleration wasn't as good as in my Fabia Vrs :D

Oh, and the Porsche broke down on the way back aswell

Josh, any good roads you can recommend? I live in Manchester and am looking for some decent, empty (if thats possible!) roads to go for a good Sunady afternoon thrash ;)

Sorry to bring back an old thread but... 300bhp in a stripped out road racer... around 5 second 0-62mph and would have been around 13 sec 1/4.

That was my old teggy, normally feel kinda lacking in mid-range due to lack of torque but stick a bloody great tubby on there it flys... dont think i'll ever drive anything that brought that many smiles agian :(

John beat me to it, RITA @ Alton Towers is fast acceleration, but a car with midrange punch is also fast.

Take your pick :)

In answer to PBirkett...

3rd gear.

The Subaru website says 5 seconds (iirc) for a UK STi (Through the gears).

I timed just under 5.5 seconds in mine.

From which speed to which speed?
