Well, that's how I thought it would feel as a passenger in my mate's (well his dads) P reg 911 Carrera. I didn't htough, just sounded very noisy and rattly, and the sense of acceleration wasn't as good as in my Fabia Vrs

Oh, and the Porsche broke down on the way back aswell

Sorry to bring back an old thread but... 300bhp in a stripped out road racer... around 5 second 0-62mph and would have been around 13 sec 1/4.

That was my old teggy, normally feel kinda lacking in mid-range due to lack of torque but stick a bloody great tubby on there it flys... dont think i'll ever drive anything that brought that many smiles agian :(

John beat me to it, RITA @ Alton Towers is fast acceleration, but a car with midrange punch is also fast.

The Subaru website says 5 seconds (iirc) for a UK STi (Through the gears).

I timed just under 5.5 seconds in mine.
