New cars with swirl marks!

Featured Replies

I was at my local VW dealers today getting my summer wheels and tyres back on. Whilst there, I had a good look at the new cars in the showroom and couldn't believe how many swirls and minor scratches were in the paint. These are unregistered cars!

After having my paint corrected by ChrisRs last year as part of the World Challenge, I've definately raised my expectations and standards for car paintwork. I'm getting OCD about it like many others on here I think.

That's why I always pick my cars up how they roll off the transporter and get them prepped properly by someone who knows what they are doing.

Cars are cleaned to a price, the staff are on minimum wage (or close to it) and they just set to with a hosepipe and sponge...

I've seen some shockers in showrooms.

When I picked my new Citigo up it looked like someone had washed it with a scourer...

Not what you want when you buy a new car, it should be perfect

Unfortunately, it happens all the time John

Most of the average car buyers wont even notice it...The dealers know this
