Fabia vrs tuning

Featured Replies

Hi. I've recently brought a 2007 fabia vrs

At the moment it's completely standard.

My old car was a lot more powerfull and I've seen one that had 180 bhp.

What would be the correct procedure to getting this kind of bhp?

Thanx for your help.

First way of achieving a huge power increase is utilise the 'search' facility on the forum ;)

180 doesn't sound like a reliable number to me. Pushing the limits of the standard turbo.

Turbo plus intercooler plus remap can net you 200+. Though you've got to be careful with the clutch and/or limit torque to prevent clutch slip.

Standard suspension will feel about as direct as a hovercraft trying to contain that.

Standard brakes will wilt if driven enthusiastically.

Maybe have a reads through some of the project section topics.

Basic Rule of thumb

Basic Remap will see you from 165-175 BHP depending on where you get it from.

Over and above that you will need to look at uprating your :

Cooling

Clutch and possibly Flywheel

Turbo

Induciton

Injectors

In roughly that order.
