Mk1 Fabia with Electric window woes

Featured Replies

Sorry guys for bringing up such an old thread!

Iv got got same issue issue with my VRS fabia, Windows not working. Had an electrician check over it and he’s stated that the drivers side window motor/module isn’t working.

However been told to replace it with the exact part number which is on the module

mine is 401350A6, I have found a replacement but that’s 00401350A5 again from a fabia vrs - will this work?

First module is mine

second is the replacement used part I can buy

any advice will be appreciated

Disconnecting the battery resets the electronics causing the motor to temporarily work. The motor electronics are probably damaged so you would need a new motor.

OK thanks!
