Colleagues who ordered in January, do you have any build week allocated?

I ordered in late January through leasing company and they keep telling me that I will get the car in September... nothing more.

Except our colleague Gaboo who was extremly lucky, I dón't know anybody else who ordered in January or later and received the car.

My order is VRS TDI hatch, with manual gearbox.

Yup! Ordered early January, advisory BW21 confirmed on the 15th, being built as we speak. I should have my mitts on it by mid-June.

Ordered end of February and Mrs Rubble picks up her VRS on Sunday, I suspect that the dealer had a car in the system and just altered the spec. Manual TSi hatch, with sunroof and Rio Red. Build week 18.

Not very happy - I was allocated a provisional BW24, but told yesterday that has slipped to BW30.

 

I ordered third week of Jan and its a petrol VRS estate in metal grey, with sunroof and Columbus.

Ordered 11th Jan.

I got a message yesterday (19th May) from the dealer to say that my VRS Race Blue TDI-DSG Hatch has been built and is now awaiting shipping. 

I guess that means I'll be taking delivery some time in the next 2-3 weeks!  Nearly there.

Still it might be that the sunroof and Columbus to put you in delay.

 

I hope for late june, early july delivery, but is just my estimation (or more like a wish). I'm tired of my old 1.4 TSI

Try as I may, I just can't work out any trend in bw allocation. I think they do it with a bag if balls with a slip of paper with your order written in it.

Certainly feels like they have me by the balls

I ordered 7th Jan, was told build week 29 a week or so back and am due to call again on Friday for an update. Spec is VRS TDI DSG estate with quite a few options but not pano roof.

I see that cars ordered in first weeks of january are started to be delivered. I guess that means we are getting close.... closer.

Still, leasing company tells me nothing. :(

I ordered Dec 16th, vrs TDi estate manual and still don't have a build week! No pano roof either!!!

Just been told confirmed bw of 29, tdi combi estate with dsg and pano roof.

Ordered on 6th of feb

... but I guess I'm in the same situation since my leasing company can't tell me nothing about estimated delivery.

I have been "updated". Delivery in september, no build week.

I see on here that people who ordered in February are preparing for delivery in late june-begining of August.

I was originally in the November orders thread but got told by SUK that my car was reordered end of January when my dealer was sold to another group. Apparently it meant I was treated as a new customer. This makes sense as it was about that time I disappeared from the estimated BW list. Appears to be a factory ****-up though.

So I guess I'm a January order now?

 

Last week I reappeared at BW25 and still there today so I'm hopeful of getting it early July if not before.

 

VRS TDi DSG Estate in Candy White with silver stitching and anthracite Geminis with winter pack, black pack, sunset glass, cruise(now inc), pano roof, electric tailgate, variable boot floor, simply clever pack and spare wheel.

 

SUK have told me there is no option that delays the cars but there was a shortage of estate bodyshells and VRS bumpers. I guess it may be pano roofs delaying some orders as it is a different bodyshell.

Well the car is built and currently awaiting shipping at 'Germany port'. Pencilled in for June 19th pick-up at the dealers. I cannae wait!

I ordered my new VRS Tsi Dsg Estate last thursday and was given a build date of week 40 its now down to week 29. No doubt it will still change between now and then.

The Schelde Highway is just leaving Emden so the motor might be on it. Let's hope.

Just been updated, It's now officially 'Shipped on the way to a UK Port' Must be quite a queue at Emden. I think it's on the Sea Cruiser 1 due in at Grimsby tomorrow 19:30 BST..or it may already be there. I guess I'll get the official news when it gets to the dealer. Cannae wait!

Me, placing the order at the end of January, I hope I will receive it until end of July.
I just hope that my dealer is too stupid or/and lazy to update me correctly.

Well cip, it could be ready next week if the car get to the dealers before the end of this week and the dealer gets their finger out. Otherwise if its ready in week 25 I'll be happy.

Update, the ship's docked and the car is now officially 'Arrived at UK Port'. Am I dreaming?
