new fabia 3 real pics

Recommended Posts

Has anyone else seen the photo in Autocar today.

What a sad looking attempt at anew car.

Sorry, from these photos it does absolutely  nothing for me.

I think they would struggle even if they had vRS' it or for those that like it Monted it.

What was all the secrecy about??

You mean the highly disguised test-car?

There are no photos of the finished product yet.

I do appreciate the disguise panel still remain both in Autocar and Autoexpress photos .

But my gut feel say that this car will do nothing to make my heart skip a beat.

Just hope that the engine, gearbox and ride quality combinations will make up for the outward mundaneness  and then this might attract me for my retirement in a few years TIME there may be a U turn and a vRS PACKAGE transpires.

All it reminds me of is...

Fiat%20Stilo%20(3).jpg

Spot on. In my opinion Skoda have completely lost their way on the design front. The Rapid, Octavia, Yeti facelift and now this new Fabia are just so dull. It's as though the drawings go through a 'dullness filter' before being signed off. A near complete absence of interesting design features, bland featureless panels, near identical front ends. As an owner of four Skodas since 2004 this saddens me. VW seem to be repositioning them within the group as a producer of worthy but utterly characterless cars, simply cheaper versions of the equivalent VWs. If you want design flair Seat has become the default choice.

I'll still be interested to see this new Fabia in the metal in Paris in October, but I fully expect to be disappointed.

Photoshop based on latest spy shots and the "new design language":

I seriously doubt it will have triangular fog lights. It will defo share the same fog lights with the rapid and other models. Wishful thinking from the designer, maybe he is a Skoda fan  :D

backend looks like an old citroen AX  :(

Totally agree.

Perhaps its the Skoda Retro look ,a mk1/ mk3.

Now that is radical!!

Perhaps there will be a vRD 150 /184 bhp with manual or DSG options.

Now there's real radical !!

Looks like the fabia and rapid have blended together.

Not hard really given that the rapid is based on the fabia chasis etc

Should have called it the fabia saloon....

Hmmm not so sure, I never really liked the mk2, Loved the mk1 but the mk2 never grew on me (sorry mk2 guys and gals). Though the mk2FL is better.

Replacement size for the citigo maybe mid next year will probably be at most fabia size, currently in the VAG range the A1 is my choice. But if the fabia comes with some good engines maybe like the 1.4TFSI COD and DSG then I'll be interested.

Mk3 Fabia vRS.........doubt it.
