ive been toying doing this with mine, well not as many leds to be fair but already started buying the stuff for it, just popped on here and found this thread and now i dont feel so original :(

 

going for interior and exterior door handle lights, some more in the back interior because its like the dark side of the moon, and the floor lights!

 

i like this tho, has definetly made my mind up on doing it, although i was thinking i was going to be the first lol :(

All looks good to me. Especially like the lights in the boot, think I will have a go at putting some in there. Nothing wrong with what you have done, plus it helps you get to know your way around a car.

its good to do things like this because its being different, i can admit i have gone a bit mad but oh well, i like it.. 

 

yeah mate, you should put some in yours. its a good experience and a cheap one. 

not to my taste, but each to their own, I like the decals on the outside, but not all of the LEDS

 

my only concern for people doing this sort of thing is "how long do you intend to keep the car?" if a long time then no issues

 

if 3-4 years then consider the effect on resale value or limitation on audience when trying to sell later, as can bee seen here not to everyone's taste

 

also if the car is on PCP then you do not technically own the car (you rent it) unless you make the final payment

 

some like the footwell lights could be removed without issues, but the ones in the boot lid will leave holes

 

just something to be considered by people doing something like this

 

but having said that, looks well done, only question is have you considered current draw on the interior light circuit?
