My AMC Kit has finally turned up from Amazon and is top top quality

Steel cam with mirror finish machining weighing 4.2kgs

DLC coated lifters, Glyco cam bearings, Victor Reinz cam seal and cap bolts

AMC are a spanish firm who also make replacement cylinder heads for the 16v pd and is known to be top notch.

 

Part Number is 666861k and Amazon has it at £157.86

The list here is around £300 plus vat so well worth wait.

This fits all pd 1.9tdi,s and some sdi

Even at £300 its a steel tbh due to quality.

Try c&r in nottingham as i know hes a elring uk dealer ( they import amc to uk)

Oh well, in the bought a cam from Redmans engineering.  £189.50 inc black cam followers, bearings, cam lube and oil seal.  Running a treat now.  They did advise me to drop the sump and check for metal shards..... good job I did as there were quite a few bits from the tops of the followers that had broken up!
