The main issue is it's slow and I mean really slow

I have driven a Luton with that engine, not fun!

A friend said I could borrow his removals Luton for free when we moved recently and he turned up with that! Was shockingly bad!

It's not good by modern standards but it was cheap and can tow a trailer and hold all my gear :) I hit a maximum speed of 57mph on the 35 mile trip back to the work yard

It's not good by old standards either!

Still a cheap place to store crap and get on with the engine swap ;)

I was blown away with it's acceleration speed :)

Again you may have trouble with insurance dude alot of people ask for 21 and over for a panel van

Why?!?

Well if its a 97 or Mk3 Transit, its RWD ;)

No matter how slow, just wait for the snow, the fun will come :)

No it's not as bad as I was expecting on that front! I've found all prices on my van quotes to actually be better than car quotes! My last Vauxhall combo was £450 cheaper than my Clio fully comp

This! We used to have one when I was 14 and I was allowed to drive it on some private land! Hell that was fun :)

That's good news then

Just got a quote how much do you think for a 2.5 DI considering I've got 3 points and the Clio is £1650 ish

Think I would have got the engine out first before finding something to tow it lol

I've just realised I live on a hill! That should lead to some fun!

I'm so glad I had a company van between 18 and 21...

I do sometimes but I'm only allowed the ruddy Combo to take home

Having more pointless ideas! Would it be easier to transfer a VRS engine and tank etc to this or repair a cat C damaged vRS with front end damage and strip that?

The engine will be coming out tomorrow I hope :)

Dont bother converting your petrol 1.2 to a Diesel 1.9TDI, more hassle then its worth.

if you have a petrol, go with a petrol project. if you want a DERV, buy one!

its about time the engines coming out ;)

Yes don't worry my mind drifts when I've got a quiet evening

Less thinking, more doing.

Today hopefully! I've not looked out the window yet :notme:

Maybe not as it's raining and the car is parked on muddy ground so my engine crane won't pull out :(
