Watch for the cam belts on those as iirc they suffer from oil starvation as they get older! It's fiat engined

Aye piece of junk however we got them for quite cheap, from auction, and have run them for three years.. so saved 3 years van rental... paid for itself in first year and all else is bonus. I think this one is the last 1.3 rest, 2 or 3, are 1.7s.

I do like the 1.7 pulls like a train :) I've scared a few people in mine already and only had it 2 hours! And I've found it's 0-60 :)

I've finally found the keys  that is all that's happened however!

Was thinking about abandoning the 1.8t idea and rallying it as a 1.6! Then looked into costs so it's still becoming a 1.8T

was going to say, if you're doing an engine swap, why make life harder and go for the old 1.6 16V Lump (im guessing you mean the one out of the 6N Polo GTI) the 1.8T shares so much with the Fabia it would be silly to go for anything else haha

Yeah it would've been to comply with rally rules but a trackday car is cheaper :) and more fun I hope

It's not had anything done to it this week! I've decided the clio is becoming mechanically perfect then the temp van will go as I've had it down to 35 mpg :( should free up more money for this!

Clio nearly done and van sold more time and money for the Fabia now :)

I've been on the internet and found that it's going to be pretty much impossible to find standardish looking but fibre glass panels without making them and the only possibility would be a wrc kit  but at £2299 it's a lot of money but all the parts are there so that is now on the list for when I can afford it :)

There is a cheaper WRC kit in the classified section...

Just saying.

I know  I will if it's there when it's running how I want but the mechanicals on this are the main priority :) it's just me getting bored and having mad ideas and writing things down but it will happen so if it's not sold (which judging by the high amount of interest it probably won't have) I'll enquire at a later date :)

I don't see any pictures of a Fabia, a 1.8T engine or a Fabia with a 1.8T engine. Just some bs about a Corsa and a french pile.

This thread sucks.

Hahaha
