Totally separate! I'm doing the theory work on my own in evenings and mailing off to an assessor and then Practical Assessment Is done at an evening class and then there are some online exams :)

Do it mate! Cost me £800 in the end but it will lead to a change in career! My welding skills and previous work experience help a lot :) :) suppose I'd better become a sponsor if I ever start a garage :)

Can you do this with lv3?

My local college has a lvl 2 course but its price is £2000 per year as a "part time course", i think that is assuming i go into college for the full day. not sure if they do "evening courses" at my local college.

my local college does lvl 2 and lvl 3 qualifications.

Blimey! Quite expensive then! I probably will go into my own garage when LVL3 is complete :)

Education is generally cheaper in Wales. IIRC the Open University still offer discounts to Welsh residents, and they are pretty heavy too (like 40%).

And it's raining again here :(

surely growing up in wales, you have accepted the fact your skin is waterproof? :D

If you're born in Wales you come with webbed feet as standard... though I don't think that's anything to do with the weather.

Edit: Such a classy 666th post!
