I will be at work in a few weeks time  just a matter of deciding on a colour

 hadn't thought about that one! Making my decision harder, ones I'd looked into were Race Blue but then it looks like an SE, white if I was still planning on WRC project later on or keep it original which as much as I like deep sea blue it's not my favourite Skoda Blue! But then Fantasy Green the ultimate colour for a performance motor!

White is good too.

White for WRC look later on or FG just to be odd would be my suggestions.

Race Blue will make it look like a poor VRS SE copy unless you put VRS bumpers and spoiler on it.

Well hopefully I'll have sprayed this one and sorted the other one within a month and a half from now so the neighbours will think I'm going up in the world getting rid of my personal trainer

I reckon Fantasy Green would look pretty good on track and a thought I had about WRC is I'd have to use spacers so might end up with vibrations etc at speed

Cool, I'd love to be able to spray my car myself. Really could do with a respray at some point

I've only ever done a side of a car and a couple of panel repairs so doing a whole car will be a bit longer but I'm hoping it will come up well!

My last track project it was in fact :)

I know the other WRC replica runs 50mm spacers, which is probably fine on the road.

But on track I personally think you need longer suspension arms and wishbones.

That's what I'd do.

That's what they did on that Autocross Fabia I had too.

Off a TT?

I did look at Auto Data and there isn't much difference in wheelbase just 10cm difference in overall width

Off a TT?

Can't remember.

Not sure how the bits are laid out, but I suspect TT/Octy have the turrets wider than the Fabia so it's not a simple swap job.

Would probably need to make them.

Not as bad as it sounds, could use Octy or TT driveshafts, hubs etc... and just knock up some longer arms, wishbones and so forth.

Unless you could bodge the whole front subframe on! :D

Go obscure - if you keep it blue you don't need to change to v5c.

Baby blue :)

Purple/blue?

Yeah it's a lot of work just to make it look like a wrc car and there is the extra weight etc when I won't use mine for anything apart from track work so there isn't much point to that, I don't want to make it just look like an SE rep so Race Blue is lower down the list and I want to keep it standardish looking from the outside so white isn't my favourite colour that Skoda made, Fantasy Green or deep sea blue would be good for making it look a real sleeper!

Would I need to change the colour as it will not be a road going vehicle!

Probably, even though it's on a SORN.

Just to be on the safe side.

I suppose so for the likes of theft! Unless I paint it Fantasy Green ;) ;)

A dvla colour change is the least of my worries to be honest! Oh that reminds me it will have to be changed to a 1.8 too

What about midnight purple that was on the skylines?

I want to be near OEM and that's too busy for Skoda to ever contemplate

Howcome? It looks great from the pictures!

The front end is like the surface of the moon after a meteor storm and has many other chips, scratches and dents. Even the roof!

The paint that isn't damaged does look good though. Maybe I'm just being fussy :D

Stone chips can easily be fixed with no need for a respray :) usually done through a method of touch up paint then wet sand and polish!

There's just so many chips, that it would probably be quicker to get it resprayed. Maybe a change of colour too..

Those pesky French do a very nice Orange, that or Ralle Green.

 not French otherwise it will break down! Already had enough of doing that with this Clio and I don't want it to look like a wedge of cheese
