Right been playing about on a test section this morning and I've come to a conclusion on which colour it will be

No! The paint that is already on it :rofl: I did a sample bit with a rotary polisher and it came up okay :) although I've had to do a respray patch over where I tested Ford Diamond White which was yuck

Got to find a vRS to nab the rear beam off it so if I find one I might as well just repair that! Or if I get a knackered one then I might have the rear beam

Baring in mind you have a stripped car and an engine, would it not be better to find a donor 1.8t to poach all the other bits from?

Just a thought, seems much easier unless you have epic build skills like BenJen who was hooning his 1.8t Octy based Fabia around Combe on Saturday.

Yeah although they seem to be rather expensive!

Just have to wait for the right car to turn up! Hopefully the motorbike will quench my constant searching!
