Mk1 Fabia 1.8T

Featured Replies

Recovery from London to the end of nowhere, plus MOT, sorting the smashed front end and a VIC test makes it unviable IMO.

For the same money locally Jack could pick up a running car with an MOT.

Actual sensible advice... can't be him! Who hacked Richards account?

so £1000 on the clio....

i would have scrapped it long ago! thats mad!

I know it's stupid however when you don't keep track and have to repair quickly as it's the only form of transport it gets like that :( I might get £800 back if I'm lucky!

My FGF stands me in around £800 all in with four new tyres.

And it's done 2,000 miles so far without a hitch.

Buy a Skoda and avoid old Renaults!

Yeah exactly this Renault has been nothing but hassle! I should've kept one of the vans instead

Going to slap a SKODA badge on it in the hope that Richard will think it's a fantasy green skoda and buy it ;)

or the best solution, just get the 1.8T done ;)

Unlikely, I'm not buying a turd just because you put a Skoda badge on it.

Lol it's a heap :P and no it's very much a 1.4 16v

^ I know 16v lumps are heaps, why would you want to buy one? :p

do you like running it on 98/99 octane? if you run them on 95, they fill up with carbon, persistant EML lights due to EGR Flow to low etc, extra carbon build up, then they start drinking oil more than a mk2 Fabia VRS

then its dead.

dont have any of them problems with the 8V engine ;)
