purchased one of these, the box is coming out anyway and i think i've killed the oem mount. Fitting kit for the diff is on its way, diff on its way. Will hopefully have a big update next week with lots of pictures of a gearbox in bits and a diff going in

have you replaced the bottom one with a Vibra-techics as well or just poly bushed that? i went for a powerflex and does the job nicely, had them on my octy vrs before and was pleased with the results

I've got the super pro dog bone insert. I heard the vibratechnics dogbone would be evil on the diesel

Yeah I've heard that too, awesome gti say it's no good for the diesels. Going to make a rear strut brace soon as well not spending £100 on a Forge item

Why buy it when i can make my own for nothing, that's what my car is all about my 3" tip cost under £50 to make better than £200 for a Badger5 item and it works just as well

Awesome that will be good. There's been a couple of members make some previously, which worked well

Been contemplating a 'X' brace but not sure of the advantages over a normal brace if any. A weld in bar with a 'X' could also be on the cards, either way its on the jobs list before combe

this is actually out of a BMW E36 but you get the general idea of what i'm thinking for the fabia

What about a weld in half cage? Something you could make your self?

And epic project. Had a look round this at blyton.

Diff fitting kit arrived yesterday, diff to be delivered this morning, ramp booked for tomorrow morning, awaiting on gearbox mount. If AMD can turn one around in 6 hours i'm going for at least 8 because i have never fitted one before, but there's a first time for everything

Good luck with the fitting mate. Did your gear box mount come with nuts and bolts?

Mine had the bolts but no nuts ooo err lol

Mine was exactly the same, wrong bolts and no nuts. Didn't have any nuts to hand so cut the welded nuts off the stock mount and used them lol.

Aww man that's not good :(
