Why doesn't the black edition have a black grill or are my eyes playing up?

That's a very good looking motor and nice pics. I think this model is a good compromise all round in terms of equipment, looks and price with a bit of exclusivity thrown in. Well done for biting the bullet and ordering without seeing one first. As I have said before, I think Skoda are missing a trick by not offering the add on's which can make the car your own.

Its Skoda for you. I have a CitiGo "SPORT" with the smallest engine (60 BHP). Even though they do 75 BHP engine for standard CitiGos.

My Black Edition came with the body coloured wing mirrors as well. I had to ask the dealer to change the mirror caps for me.

I was quite nervous when I ordered the car without seeing it in flesh however it was well worth it when the dealer sent few pictures of my car the moment it landed.

My dealer told me £37 for the grill and may be half hour to an hour labour. So you are looking at around £100..

Do you think it would be possible to retrofit the standard wheel with a MFSW

 

I have seen interest from others in doing this on other threads, but I don't think I have found an answer on if it actually possible? However I am new to the forum so might just be my searching skills!!!!

My dealer has swapped the wheels for me as the black turini wheels on the black version just didn't do it for me, I don't think they suited the look of the car, not like the white version, where the contrast works really well. I will have18" vrs gemini's on  mine. V. excited.

I thought exactly like that about the black "black edition". VRS wheels will look really good with it and make it look like a vrs ;-)

Hi Pbomb/Saurabhdutt,  they didn't charge me extra, I expressed concern about it as I ordered without seeing it in the flesh, so they said if I didn't like them then I could choose any wheels they had (18" or below) so when they got a black edition in (not mine) I went to look at it and I didn't like them. They are anthracite (black silver) which look lovely. And my dealership is Bury St Edmunds.

 

27 mins and counting ...eek ..like a kid waiting for christmas!!

I decided to keep the Alloys it came with as I like them,  I felt it made the car look more refined, but with a mean edge as well.

 

I have driven it 60miles so far with a big grin on my face, I can't wait for work to finish, sod it might leave a little early!
