MP3 CD player

Featured Replies

Hi.

I've managed to put some MP3s onto a CD-R to play in my Fabia. All very nice.

But I tried using a CD-RW and it didn't work. Did I do something wrong or does it just not like that format? I wanted to use it a bit like a hard drive where I'll update it everytime I get bored of the songs. :nerd:

just might be the disk, CD-RW are not as reflective as CD-R.

Did you finalise the disk?

If I recall CD-R's are automatically Finalised (well they are with Ashampoo), but CD-RW's aren't so you need to tick the box!

I don't think the Head Unit will read an Un-Finalised disk!! :)

Thanks, I'll try that finalising thing. If it doesn't work I'll try a different disk just in case it's dodgy.

I like the stereo on my Fabia, but I like listening to Radio 5 so I have the annoyance of holding the Radio button down for ages before it will allow me to choose AM.
