What car would you get for

335D Xdrive?

That's a fast diesel and the company car tax is very low. Is that engine in any other BMW as the styling's not to my taste. I'm not keen on the squat A7 rear end TBH.

We had a word with the accountant today who suggest it would be better from a tax point of view to take a lump sum and maintain the car myself. This is due to the low mileage I'd be doing.

This now opens up a whole range of cars including this :)

435d xdrive (basically 3 series coupe)

Or a 535d (same engine)

Or 640d coupe (same engine)

A good used Porsche Cayman, a cellar of very good brandy and some very attractive escorts. I would probably just squander the rest!

Lol and I was worried the wife wouldn't want the AMG, I think we know the answer to this one.

Company car for £42k?

I'd also go 335d. Low BIK, good performance, excellent handling, great feel and can do the relaxed tourer if you need to pound the motorway.

I borrow an S5 quite often, awesome sound and traction but dull handling and wooden feel.

The E46 is getting on a bit unfortunately,I'd not want huge maintenance bills as well as fuel bills but they do look awesome, even today.

We own a farm which I manage, dad says I can spend up to £42k.

I'd like a petrol now as I wouldn't have to pay company car tax every year so the CO level wouldn't matter, road tax is another matter but hey ho.

335i or M135i/M235i specced with LSD, JB4 upgrade and a few M Performance options?

BMW- would prefer a 5 door and I'd like it to be a bit meaner looking.

I like the RS5, Shame again it's a 3 door but it's a contender.

Urghh Range Rover! I already drive a 4x4 to work, don't like the ride height.

Wait for the M135i face lift. Supposed to be more like the M235i.

Someone has already swapped the front end on the 5 door from the coupe.
