If Phil's airfield is not available that day, why not this venue?

British Sausage Week 2005 will be taking place between 24th - 30th October

The Britford Farm Shop is located on Bridge Farm, in the beautiful village of Britford, within sight of Salisbury Cathedral and the A338.

Not very helpful, but would save having to take barbie grub for all - er - five of you :)

In light of the number of people who'd like to come I thought I'd try and make this an official event with the site owners. It seems this was a bad idea:

Dear Phil

Thanks for your message.

.......Our clients do let this on Licence to a number of users but in view of

recent noise complaints they have instructed us not to take on any new

users. I will alert them to your particular enquiry and let you know if I am

instructed otherwise.

I am sorry I can't be more helpful at this stage.

Regards

So it looks like its all up in the air (still)

Looks like Fabia 12v's Grob Tutor might be the tops after all, if up in the air.

JC got that Saudi Arabian road closed off by the local police for his tests - thinking Harry Hill and M1 - what are the chances of that then?

Not helpful again

unofficial is good for me! can we cut a hole in the fence and sneak thru?

would anyone notice 50 skodas blatting down the runway?

as its an RAF base surely its been paid for by the tax payer anyway, does'nt

this give us rambling rights or summat?

cant you bung 'em a fiver and tip 'em a wink?

ah, my taxi is here.................

  • 1 month later...

They do a taxiway run in the summer at RAF Brize Norton. (i know the summer is a long way off but it's something to look forward to eh).

Not sure if it's open to the public but with this amount of notice i think a few tickets could be secured for the public...... i.e. Briskoda members.

I'll have a word and see if i can find out any more about it......

It's not RAF - it used to be USAF but it's now owned by a private firm that sub-let parts to other companies.

Goochie, I may be able to sort something out still at Heyford - let me ring a couple of people and I'll post back here

If my car is there and fully remapped' date=' I'll give it a shot. Oxford is only 2 hours from me.

Would my car come under "unlimited" though? :D[/quote']

he said vrs'

Idealy I'm looking for:

Standard Octavia VRs

Standard Fabia VRs

Octavia 1.8T with remap but no other major mods

Fabia VRs with remap but no other major mods

Octavia with unlimited mods

Fabia with unlimited mods

Please list yourself below along with a brief car spec if you are reasonably local and would be interested in taking part.

Thought this was the plan:confused:

Does Fabia WRC come under unlimited mods?

he said vrs'

fabia with unlimited mods so I think Jays would fall under that. Failing that we could have the quickest upturned fabia instead?

Or the least number of original components ;)
