Skoda Citigo or Fiat 500

The girlfriends already seen it .........

Simple tell them that they are female so no nothing about cars, you are the man and know everything. Now get back in to the kitchen and remember to look pretty!!

I say the above in jest!

I'm amazed with the 57mpg on the twinair, is this a computer reading or working out via tanking? The twinair is a lot of fun, but not as a eco town car, IMHO it's a tiny hothatch and should be marketed as such.

I liked a lot about the twinair, I just think maybe I got a duff one. But as an all round package the Citigo is a lot better.

£9273 is the cheapest on CarWow so far!

Full tank to empty to fill up. I'm a bit obsessive about recording hence the fuelly account but I haven't worked out how to add to my sig.

Had a Fiat 500 for 2 years, its the biggest disappointment of a car i have bought.

Actual MPG was woefully short of claimed. Had DPF issue within a year, & it took 2 attempts to eventually fix, admittedly they sorted without arguement, the space to put shopping in the boot was also terrible due to the internal hatch panel intrusion.

It was a brilliantly designed drivers car, but it was and still is design over function

.................................. It's all about Fashion hence why I got the reply of not a Skoda

The 'old' and I presume hugely unfashionable Punto is better VFM in my opinion, but then I would say that as we ended up with one anyway! The colour is apparently 'on trend' I'm told and has extra space, 1.4 Multiair, longer wheelbase and IMHO the better looks made more sense to me too. My dear lady didn't take to the Fiat 500 either in twinair or plain old vanilla 1.2 4 cyl FIRE engine flavour. Mini driving position when she tried it was also not for her. Despite best efforts neither was the Citigo, she didn't go much on the 3 cyl thrum although I quite like em and pretty torquey for what it is.

Gets mistaken for a boy racer from time to time until she gets in it, but when you reach pensionable age you tend to have what you want rather than what others think you should have. Certainly doesn't fade into the bland pastels at most supermarket car parks, but is really more about looks than horsepower & handling so I guess we're back to fashion again.

If you MUST have a Fiat.........be different ;)

Absolute bargain mate, would have cost me way more by now.

Fortunately that was back before the business took off.

Just saved myself some money
