Hopefully the camera that Richard lent me got some good footage of my big spin, and a few other bits and pieces.

Great day out, despite the rain. Really enjoyed it.

Richard, you have the memory card from my car in the camera still. :-)

I've got some photos from in and around the pit garages. Is it ok with everyone if I post them without blanking reg numbers? Got them on my phone, otherwise will have to put them on the PC and edit them.

Fine with me Danny. :)

Thanks to everyone that booked and came.

Yes it was a bit wet, but it was a great day and I hope you all learned something or improved your driving.

Mixing the track day with having a group of us together made it very enjoyable.

I think everyone had mastered Paddock Hill Bend by the end of the day. :D

Except the Jag that turned right on the brakes and speared the barrier.

Fantastic day, cheers Richard and thanks for the loan of the camera.

I think between me and Taylor we brought back nearly a quarter of a wheelie bin full of gravel from paddock hill bend... :)

It was great day nice to see every one and no problem on helping to sort out the cars :)

jake is a top guy, improved my driving round there 100%. really knows his stuff. thanks for sorting that out richard [emoji16]

He certainly gave me the confidence I needed to get out on track in the wet. I don't think I'd of spent as much time out there as I did without having him share his knowledge.

To be honest, that makes it money well spent. :)

Think I'm going to take up drifting!

I had a look over my footage and ot would appear that I kept forgetting to plug in the recorder. Hoping Charlie has got some good footage of me going into paddock a bit hot (again)

Hopefully so :) will check the footage after work :)

Just got home!!! what a day, after a blunder with the cam I managed to capture my "off", vid to be uploaded soon :D

Just to echo everybody else thanks to everybody for a brill day!! and thanks again to Boss and Jake

ooohhhh, that looked a little close mate! glad you kept your head and kept it out of the barriers!

look quite hairy out there! but glad you all had fun, will endevour to do as many as I can next year :)

Had a great day yesterday - thanks again Richard for organising it. Good turn out and a friendly bunch of people to spend the day with! As I hadn't driven around Brands before Jake helped me go a bit quicker - especially around Druids and Clearways. Having a friendly instructor on hand really does help you get the most out of the day.

Hope everyone enjoyed the passenger laps in the Clio, sorry that the heaters were stuck on full (French quirk!) and to Skoda_Saint for my spin early on - my only mishap all day.

If you want one to mod specifically for track then the 172 cup is the one to go for, otherwise any other 172/182 variant will fit the bill.

Thank you very much for the trip in the Clio it was immense :)

Agreed, for a "little" French car (LOL) it went round that track so damn well I was thinking this is an excellent track car for some cheap thrills! And no worries about the spin that was part of the fun and charm of being in it to be honest because it shows how much you could push it and it didn't go wrong in a big way and stayed out of the gravel. :D

Did very much enjoy the clio.

Think it's a good thing that we were all some of the fastest cars out there. Must have been Jake that made us that fast. That or Skoda drivers "aren't afraid to write it off"
