There are local garages though, if you just need heating oil.

Garage is out the main gate, turn left on the A20 and about 1/2 a mile away.       Many trackdayers pop out at lunchtime for a top up.

Just as you join the A20 from M26 there is a shell station, not too far, only 10 minutes or so. less if its a sprinted drive

I found the gravel at How Fast? I just couldn't get that first corner right..

Touch wood, never been in gravel before, but Ben will vouch for the slightly scary almost spin that put us off the track. If I had tried to make the corner I would have been round.


Like Richard said, you know your car and you know what you can do. Stay within the limits of both and all will be well. Nothing says you have to be flat out the second you exit the pit lane.

If anybody has never done a track day before and has a crash helmet and want to jump in for a few laps they are more than welcome.
