If you had the choice

Featured Replies

Well we've just bought a fabia Monte Carlo and in the process of finding a car for swmbo

1 citigo

2 mii

3 aygo

4 swift which will have 1.2 4 cylinder and will be new at less than 9k

id stay skoda  and have a citigo

I only have experience of the Swift.

Great car.... A good fun driving car and practical too. Good looking, ticks the boxes as they say.

You would not be disappointed.... But ideally a drive of each should answer the question..

I find the heart overrules the head when choosing a car.. You can read...calculate..research all you want... Then gut feeling tells You " This is the car I want"

:-)

Swift out of those options for me

It would be the Swift for me also. SWMBO had one, youngest  son now has it. Don't forget VAG have a major share of Suzuki so its not like your jumping ship. :)

Swift here too.

Seats are coming in cheap and full of kit at the minute. Swift drives well by all accounts. It depends if you value kit N comfort or a bit of handling.

Suzuki is more than just handling,  they know how to do build quality well in Hungary.

Something that some Central European Manufacturers are Struggling with.

& Suzuki Dealers know about Customer Service IME.

Yeah coming across really good customer service and will take the little arosa as part ex

Id be tempted for the citigo.

Iv been in a 57 plate swift and thought it was very bland and boring inside (and i drive a fabia which im happy with.. Haha)

They might have updated it since that one was made though, i dont know

Whatever car you chose or any of us do, i just like the way they get them here,

already run in just a little bit.

That's awesome George ! The swift is available in 15 days wish skoda could do it so quick :)

Swift for me too. I had the same options last year and went with a 1.2 Swift SZ4. It does feel a bit underpowered but then they all do.

We are just going for the sz2 with 3 door bog standard it's going to be a work car for missus, just B roads very rural so don't need a rocket ship

I like the Splash, I like it Lots, & i like the Price,  (VFM)

but then i like the car where i can get in wearing the Fox Hat, or a Top Hat.

you could say they are rather 'swift' with their delivery :D

Yep they've phoned me twice today asking me what's happening so popping in tomorrow

citigo is a crackin little car, havnt seen or driven the new swift, only the older one an 06 reg a few yrs back, felt stable and pokey for the size. They just wanted too much for it, and swmbo cudnt get driving position just right for herself. She ended up with the 206 instead........ I hated that car!

Oh. They did a facelift on the swift then?

In that case. My above comment is invalid haha.

I'd go for the Swift

Was any consideration given to a second Mk2 Fabia in the family, as this model reaches the end of life.

Any bargains to be had with models sitting in stock?
