AM I allowed in here :)

Featured Replies

Hi guys, a few of you might know me from Fabia, octy and octy 2 forums, after a while out of the fold I'm coming back :), I'm just about to pick up a rapids sister car, a seat toledo. Hope Ill be allowed to post as the seat forum has never been my thing after lots of inter forum conflict between the two, (I'm not banned honest), and the toledo forum has a whole 5 threads going, it seems to have sold even less then rapid for some reason, I think it's a lovely looking car :)

Got a great deal on a 14plate 5month old one, 1.6cr SE spec with sat nav, rear sensors, armrest, 17" alloys option and best of all white,

Of course you are, especially as I consider the Toldeo to be a Skoda anyway as it's built in the Czech Republic :)

I've seen a few around, it is a nice looking car indeed.

Very nice specced car.

Welcome :)

Sounds like a nice spec :) I think there are a couple of other Toledo owners who post in here from time to time as well.

Additional car Trevor or no Octys anymore?

My new taxi, cracking deal, ex demo

Same engine/colour and wheels as mine lol they do look cracking in white :)

Wish it had nav & parking sensors, find it hard to reverse close to stuff, unlike the octavia or passat you can kinda see the end of the tailgate in rear view mirror, where as the Toledo I just see top of parcel shelf.

Wheels are what make the car, I'm getting mines painted grey, kinda shadow chrome colour.

Ordered a bunch of LEDs for it, reg plate, side lights & interior, trying to find led DRL Lights aswell.

Overall super happy with it, and majority of punters compliment on it which makes me happy.

Should make a Toledo sub forum in here as Seat forum is rubbish

Yes I really like the standard 17" option wheels, which was a big plus to me, I'm so fussy.

That ll be the first thing I do is change the drls to LEDs :),

I thought the se's came with rear sensors as standard? If not I've got another result there, mine was ex demo too only done 4.5k

I got sensors on my ex demo 5k Rapid , never had them before but they seem useful on this car.

Maybe on newer models, mines is a 62.... So pretty much one of the first made if I'm correct?

As standard it's got climate control, cruise, armrest, Bluetooth, sporty steering wheel.

I have the same spec in Reflex silver and the wheels do make all the difference. I've had rear sensors fitted to mine (Cobra Park Master) and it's a worthy addition and they work perfectly. The ride is a little firm due to the 17" alloys and Dunlop Maxx Sport tyres and I may look to change these to something different when the time comes. The economy has been great in the recent warm weather and I can easily achieve 60+ mpg on a good run. Last winter I was still getting mid fifties so overall I'm very happy with the car.

I'm getting 45mpg around the area I work, mostly 40/50 zones. Motorway your 55/60mpg which I'm happy with.

My daily commute is 50 miles return with about 40 miles of motorway so I guess this helps a lot with the mpg.

Welcome :)

Hello everyone, another toledo owner joining your club. Ever since I bought it virtually every google query about it has directed me here already.

I was a little sceptical joining the skoda forum when infact I own a seat Toledo. but I need not have been, I have been made most welcome, and already gained more knowledge than I could find elsewere,  thank you all

The more the merrier :)

They're all the same underneath [emoji106]
