The Furby is "finished"!!!!!!

Featured Replies

Nre throttle pedal installed - car sits idling at just over 900rpm & revs up nicely too. Will be taking her out for a quick spin a.s.a.p - bumper or not!

So glad its nearly over - just minor trim fitting and the like to sort out now.

:woot: :woohoo: :D

Woohoo! Well done, Jason. Can we finally declare Dr. Z's sweepstake closed, now? :P (although I don't think anybody's won, exactly)

Will the car be doing a nation wide tour for all to see???????????????

let's hope he doesn't find one spare screw or plastic part left over when he thinks anll the trim's back in place....... :P

Seriously though, it's been an epic journey. Hope when it's finished it makes you a very happy man.

well done Jason  im sure you'll be glad when is fully completed :)

Well done mate, you must be happy :woot: :D

good news J, hope e bumper is sorted asap so you get out and about

Well done. Bet you thought you'd never get it finished.

So when you getting the bigger injectors :D

Photo's will follow soon. Not until the bumper is on anyway. And probably not until the new plates are sorted too.

The car looks the same from the outside really anyway - front suspension is a little higher to protect the engine until my sump guard arrives (hint hint Josh ;):D) and the big brakes look sweet too.

No doubt something will raise its head once I actually drive it. :o

Congratulations mate, i bet you are glad its finished and there is still some nice weather left before winter :)

And about bloody time too!

I seem to remember a thread questioning if you'd finish before Miss Piggy passed her driving test. It was an easy one to answer - and you've proved us all right :)

What is the insurance like?

Good job  - Must say I admire your persistence, just wondering how many beers it took ;)

Are you going to get a feature in "Lax Power" or similar - they usually enjoy these kind of projects. They'll enjoy making up quotes you never said too ;)

How about Jason puts some sort of build diary together with pics. I would find that interesting or is that just me :o

I too would find it interesting.

So come on then Jason. That'll be your new project. Make a diary of your last project. :D

I'm not sure I can do one in the form of a day to diary, but it would be my pleasure to do a "how to"

Lets put it this way - Allard tell me their close to finalising the development of uprated PD injectors. ;) I'm not going to book my remap until I know for sure what the costs/performance will be of having their uprated injectors. :D

But if its much dosh I won't bother I'll be happy with the circa 200bhp I'll be running with standard vRS injectors.

It would be my pleasure to do a "how to"

"Don't" ;)

200bhp and how much torque?

Dunno? Around the 340lb/ft mark I guess?

On another note, I would not recommend this to PD100 owners as a worthwhile mod - but its been fun and an excellent challenge. I will enjoy this car now for the foreseeabe.

well done jay!! Hope to see some picture soon

Well done mate. Now go drive and save fuel! (Unlike the Jag)
