New Skoda Fabia Vrs Owner.

Featured Replies

Hi

I am new to the Skoda experience, got a 2004 Skoda fabia VRS last month. Using it for work, so got it because of MPG and also acceleration, and because its different. Had a bit spent on it (bi xenons headlights, provate plate, new stereo etc). I however recently got it fuly serviced, but its running rougher now than before, with a grinding noise on deceleration and a horrible rattling coming from engine bay! Any ideas on what it could be folks? Also, I live in Nottingham, can anyone recommend an independent Skoda garage in Nottingham thats good?

Regards

Akile

Most importantly...what oil did you use to service it.

Was it all put back together correctly?

Soft Scoops old vRS? Just a guess as he's from that area and sold a car in the last month fitting that description. Welcome to the forum

In b4 DMF.

Maybe the person who sold it to you might be familiar with it? It would be worth getting in touch and seeing if he knows anything.

I'd agree with this he'd probably know of any common faults and maintenance done and that needed to be done.

+ 1. Previous owners always knows best - hopefully he'll be able to help.

Better off putting questions in the main MKI Fabia section,

As for the previous owner knowing what's causing the noise.....................if it was fine when you bought it & then you took it to a garage to get work done then it starts making noises.......................

Ask the garage ....................sounds like they messed up!

I just came here to eat popcorn

If it wasnt making the noise when you bought it, the previous owner wont know anything about it, so wouldnt be able to help.

Id get onto the garage.
